以臺灣具代表性的榕樹為發想，不鏽鋼為主要素材。

樹供給氧氣，是孕育生命的表徵。不鏽鋼鍛造是由人力鎚鍛敲鑿，象徵樹木需經長時間的生長與淬鍊，表現其剛毅堅韌、屹立不搖的精神。

園區的理念是打造綠色產業、生態景觀、環境保護及綠建築。永續推動綠能，更藉以強調人與自然之間相互依存、共生共榮之哲學思維，彰顯園區的特色及精神涵養。

This artwork is inspired by the Chinese Banyan tree and uses stainless steel as the main material.

The tree symbolizes life. Forged stainless steel undergoes repeated hammering until it’s brought to the desired quality, symbolizing the strength of a tree that comes from withstanding the challenges of time and weather.

The idea of Southern Taiwan Science Park is to create green industry, ecological landscapes, environmental protection and green buildings, promoting sustainable green energy. Moreover, it stresses the symbiotic relationship between human and nature, demonstrating the distinctive characteristic and spirit of the park.
